Amanda Hammond
Amanda Hammond brings six years experience litigating criminal cases at the Colorado Public Defender’s Office to her position as Intake Coordinator. As a Public Defender, she represented indigent criminal defendants charged with crimes ranging from DUI to Murder. She defended her clients in every step of the legal process, gaining invaluable experience for analyzing cases and identifying ways to assist the wrongfully imprisoned.
Before becoming a lawyer, Amanda received a B.A. from Duke University, spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guyana, traveled extensively, and received her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.
