Alexis Danneman
Alexis E. Danneman represents clients in both federal and state courts, with deep experience in appellate litigation before the Arizona appellate courts and the Ninth Circuit. Recognized by Chambers USA as an “exceptional appellate lawyer,” Alexis is praised for her legal insight, precision, and writing.
Her practice includes extensive work in election and political law, where she has litigated voting rights cases nationwide since 2016 and represented Democratic clients in post-election challenges — including defending President-elect Joe Biden’s 2020 win and statewide officials in 2022 contests. She also provides strategic counsel to Democratic candidates and campaigns.
Alexis advises clients on criminal and regulatory matters, defending investigations by agencies such as the DOJ, SEC, and the U.K. Serious Fraud Office. She leads internal investigations involving the FCPA, fraud, and misconduct for a broad range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies.
Before joining Perkins Coie, Alexis clerked for the Hon. Michael D. Hawkins on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
