David Euchner is the appellate unit supervisor of the Pima County Public Defender’s office and the 2014 President of Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice. He has argued and won cases before the Arizona Court of Appeals, Arizona Supreme Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and he is also admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States. He is listed as counsel or amicus in over thirty published opinions, and has participated in more than twenty oral arguments.

He has given more than twenty presentations on a wide variety of topics, including updates in Arizona case law, technological issues related to reasonable expectation of privacy and presenting computer evidence at trial, and appellate procedure and advocacy. His cases are the vanguard of novel legal issues in Arizona, ranging from medical marijuana to death penalty litigation. He graduated from Rutgers College in 1994 with a bachelor of arts in classics, and he received his juris doctor degree from the Rutgers University School of Law in Camden in 1999.
